Community Connection in Practice: Standing Behind Local Organisations
Supporting Communities Across New Zealand
Community involvement sits at the centre of our company values, right alongside the technical expertise and reliability our clients expect.
We believe that a security company should embody the principles it protects - integrity, dependability and a genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others.
When we talk about community partnership, we mean being present in the spaces where New Zealanders live, play and grow together.
That's why we're genuinely proud to sponsor organisations like the Brighton Scouts and Bluff Sea Scouts, along with numerous youth sports teams and other organisations across the country. These groups represent the heart of what makes our communities strong - young people learning teamwork and developing confidence.
Removing Barriers to Participation
Our sponsorships across New Zealand reflect a long term commitment to being more than just a service provider. We want to be neighbours, supporters, and active participants in the communities that have welcomed our business.
When we sponsor a local children's sports team, we're not just putting our name on a jersey. We're helping to remove barriers that might prevent a child from participating, ensuring that safe and positive experiences are accessible to more families.
Last month, a parent told one of our team members their child almost didn't sign up for the season because of the costs involved. Knowing we played a small part in making that possible, that matters to us!
Supporting Our People, Supporting Our Communities
But our commitment to removing barriers doesn't stop at the community level. We've also established internal initiatives that support our own staff when they're facing similar challenges.
We recognise that some of our team members are working hard to provide opportunities for their own children, and we've created pathways to help with sports registrations, equipment needsĀ and activity fees.
We'll keep supporting organisations that strengthen the social fabric of New Zealand communities, from the scouts preparing for their next adventure to the young athletes learning what it means to be part of a team!
